OVERVIEW:
FSC Advantage Shrinkage Compensating floors have up to 90% fewer joints than conventional concrete with no curling and greater durability. The FSC Advantage floor easily withstands the abuse of excessive forklift traffic while maintaining its durable light reflective properties. It is the ÔAdvantageÕ every facility owner needs.
THE PROCESS:
The FSC Advantage Shrinkage Compensating floor process starts with an optimized concrete mix design, utilizing Portland cement and an expansive additive. The design is tested in-house and adjusted until the proper expansion is reached. Working closely with the ready-mix provider allows us to achieve proper gradation of aggregates and control material consistency creating the most effective concrete mix possible. FricksÕ on-site testing allows us to monitor the mix in real time to ensure superior quality control and the most durable floor slab available.
